Sometimes you may notice unusual or nonsensical text in our subtitles, such as the unexpected appearance of a subtitler’s name or even the name of a subtitling company.

These odd results are known as AI hallucinations.

🤖 What Are AI Hallucinations?

An AI hallucination occurs when a large language model (LLM) perceives patterns or creates outputs that do not actually exist. This can lead to results that seem random, out of context, or entirely inaccurate.

Although rare, these errors are a known limitation of AI‑generated content and are actively being addressed as the technology evolves.
