If you want to review or adjust your subtitles before rendering the final video, you can do that in the built-in editor.
Step 1: Open the built-in editor
- Go to My Videos
- Once subtitle generation is complete, click Edit Subtitles on your video
- The editor opens with your video and subtitles already loaded
Tip: You can also click Import .srt inside the editor to load your own file, or Download .srt to save the subtitle file to your computer.
Step 2: Edit and burn into video
- Edit the subtitle text or timing directly in the editor
- Click Save progress at any time to keep your changes
- When the subtitles are ready, click Burn into video
- We will render a new version with burned-in subtitles for you
You will be redirected to My Videos once the process starts, where you can track progress.
You get two free re-renders per video.
SRT formatting
If you edit the raw SRT file outside the browser editor, the file needs to stay correctly formatted for playback to work.
See How to Edit an SRT File for the formatting rules and what to watch out for.
